we had double room to ourselves with the sofa. the location was unbeatable and particularly good, not far from easy to reach the hydrofoils connecting to rio, ferry station and the beach. didn't like when it was particularly hot outside, went to sparky's grill to relax and grab some food.

the hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. the breakfast buffet was great, offering a wide variety of fresh fruit, juices, cakes, breads. the hotel also has a fantastic view of the bay of Rio de Janeiro.

Absolutely great hotel, truly enjoyed our stay, it had great food and stunning location close to the fast ferry terminal to Rio. The room we had included a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe.

I truly enjoyed this quiet little hotel after staying for 1 night. The breakfast had a lot of options: slices of fresh bread, cakes, and fresh fruit. The room was big size and luxurious, including a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. The staff were affable and excellent day and night.

We stayed during Carnaval when everything was frenetic in Rio. We had lovely view of Charitas Beach from our room, and view across to Rio. Disappointed that the local ferry to Rio was not running on weekends but were able to get to the Niteroi ferry without much trouble.

Very good prices for that area (during carnival in Rio); During working days it only takes 15 Minutes by catamaran to the center of Rio; good breakfast buffet; clean rooms

on weekends it takes up to 90 minutes by bus to Rio; view from the hotels room could be nicer (the sugarloaf would theoretically be in sight, but all rooms are in the wrong direction); the pool is too small for swimming, and the beach in front of the hotel is not so nice

A double room was ready when we arrived. A wide array of food for breakfast, great to satisfy everyone. - the staff were friendly and efficient. - the location was stunning in front of the Bay of Guanabara. - Short walk to great restaurants, the fast ferry terminal to Rio and Ferry Station.

The restaurant staff was very professional and attentive, and the breakfast was good. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The front desk personnel responded quickly to each request.

In all other Booked.net hotels I stayed at the price given was the price I paid. This hotel had a 10% service fee. The hotel is across from a beach, but the water is dirty here and not recommended for swimming. The hotel is across the bay from Rio and it takes an hour by bus to get to Copacabana beach. There is no shopping nearby and very few restaurant choices apart from the hotel restaurant and the restaurant atop the nearby ferry terminal. Incidentally, the nearby ferry is one of the bright spots, but 11 reals per person or about $6.60 US gets you a ride to Prasca XV, the ferry terminal in central Rio that is still a 20 minute busride from the Copa or Ipanema beaches.
